Liverpool has always lacked good halal food but Alhamdullilah no longer now that Toro’s Steakhouse is here! It is located in the heart of Liverpool on Bold street making it easy to get to whether you drive or you are on foot and it is super easy to find.

The place states “Nobody leaves hungry” and on the couple of occasions I have visited that has definitely been true!

The decor is super different to all the other Toros I have visited. I absolutely loved it! The roof is filled with numerous cool light bulbs along with pretty leafs hanging from the sealing.

The wall has a cool bull silhouette that lights up at light finishing off the place perfectly.

The leafy light features are throughout the place which I really loved along with lots of seating given the size of the place. There are both wooden seats and dark brown leather booth seating large enough for bigger groups. Generally, in the day, there are tables available however if you are visiting on a Friday or Saturday night I would recommend booking a table or visiting slightly earlier. However, 3 of us went on a Friday and the place was super busy yet they managed to seat us within around 15 minutes and the food and service

The Team at Toro’s was lovely. They were super friendly and made us feel very welcome. Management
When we visited and it was super busy the team were super helpful even though it must have been difficult which was great!
The food at Toro’s did not disappoint! Let me tell you more.

Chicken Goujons (£4.99)-In the past, these were completely different in other Toros however I really enjoyed these crispy fried chicken strips. They did not taste oily at all and the chicken was just succulent enough which was good.

Toro’s Special Steak (£15.99) – So given Toro’s is a steakhouse I was excited to see how their steak tasted given this is a new branch. I opted for my steak to be medium/well done and went for the special as it intrigued me. I went for creamy mash, chips and spicy rice. I also added steamed vegetables which for did not count as one of the sides but I love vegetables with my steak. I probably would not get the chips next time just because they felt odd with the food but the mash was really creamy just the way I like it and there was LOTS of

Chicken Fillet Steak Sizzler (£14.99) – Toros has always been well known for their steak and sizzlers but I know there are many people who prefer not to opt for red-meat or fish so I figured I had to give the chicken sizzler a try. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by how yummy this was. I went for the spicy option and I struggled to finish the food given the huge portion size (the value for money is great!). I opted for my chicken to be served on pasta (which I have never had before) and sweet potato fries. The combination went well and I would definitely order this again!

Jumbo Prawn Sizzler (£13.99) – I always struggle to find good seafood and I must say Toro’s Prawns were delicious! I ordered them cooked medium served on spicy rice and peri-chips alongside peppercorn sauce. If you enjoy good fish these are a must.
The drinks at Toro’s were refreshing especially the Strawberry Mojito – I loved this pretty red drink that was really refreshing! It was just sweet enough with enough mint and zest! You get plenty as well which is great.

The Verdict is good! Liverpool finally has a great place to dine that serve non-stunned meat that is cooked really well! I would definitely recommend the place and really enjoyed the sizzlers there. The food is affordable with good portion sizes. Everyone at the place is lovely and Alhamdullilah everything was yummy!
