Chin Chin Labs – London

I absolutely love adventuring through London trying new places but finding a place that is completely unique, with Halal ingredients that are suitable for vegetarians, with vegan options is super difficult. Never mind, somewhere with such yummy marshmallows that I can’t even begin to describe but I will get to that in just a moment. Chin Chin ticks all the boxes!

So what’s the place like?

There are lots of different branches and each place is unique! Each place is always rather busy but worth the wait. Each place has an open plan kitchen, which is cool as you can see the marshmallow (video below) and everything being made. There are different flavours and desserts available at different stores each week which is exciting. Everything at Chin Chin is suitable for vegetarians with no alcohol used. They also have a variety of vegan options which is brilliant. I need to make a trip back soon!

So what are the Chin Chin team like?

They are absolutely lovely at all branches. Regardless of how busy it gets the team at Chin Chin are always really accommodating. It is the perfect place to get lots of cool video content and shots perfect for your Instagram story! I do not know how they manage under all the pressure and always make such fabulous dessert. I love that the team make sure to entertain whilst making your dessert so that you can really enjoy your dessert to the maximum.

But what’s the fuss all about?

So Chin Chin has a completely unique take on dessert. All their ice-cream is made with liquid nitrogen and it tastes amazing! I’ll just get right to it and show you the good yummy dessert!!

Chin Chin Hot Chocolate (£4.95) – This is Chin Chin’s signature hot chocolate made with Valrhona Chocolate (which is super rich) and is topped with handmade torched Marshmallow which is suitable for vegetarians which I’ve found very hard to come by (watch the video it’s so cool).

The marshmallow compliments the hot chocolate really well so I would advise you ensure not to eat all the marshmallow so that you can stir some into the drink. I often go back to Chin Chin just for their hot chocolate because it is truly one of my favourites!!

Also WARNING it gets messy quickly! Tissues will be needed.

Ice-Cream Warmie. This is their yummy brownie cookie topped with their delicious Valrhona 80% chocolate Liquid Nitrogen ice-cream. This is completed with glossy chocolate “crack” and a hazelnut sand. This was my kind of dessert given how much I LOVE chocolate!

Vegan Ice-cream – This had a Chicory root giving it a strong coffee flavour once roasted. It came studded with chocolate chips and topped with a cinnamon toast. For me personally, this was a little too rich to finish nonetheless, I still enjoyed it! If you love a strong coffee then this is for you!

Cookie Dough – I was pleasantly surprised by the cookie dough, it was perfectly baked making it just right! I opted for the chocolate chip as I am a chocoholic.

Brownie Cookie Sandwich – When I ordered this I had no idea how good this would taste but I have to say it was truly delicious. The cookie brownie was something else and the vanilla ice-cream went so well with it!

Is it worth making a trip to Chin Chin?

Chin Chin is definitely worth the trip! Wherever you are in Central London there is a branch close by making it super convenient. Everything is super yummy especially their hot chocolate which is a must! I also love that the place is affordable which is great. The place also has vegan options which is great. Do let me know if you take a trip and what you try
